HOM: Quick Steps

That fall of '78 was a pretty exciting time for us. I wish I'd kept a diary. The order and extent of events is pretty hazy now. The land sold -- to a neighboring farmer, which I guess made almost everyone happy. Even me, to a point. I paid Jerry. I told DJ that I planned on working at the plant through the end of March. (Our first gun show would be the first weekend in April, and part of our plan was to do a buying trip once that was past.) We bought a car, a new 1979 Ford Pinto. Yeah, it was for Lyn, since I had the little Datsun pickup. I bought a topper for the Datsun, custom built by S&S. TBC (Me) (Blacktail Books)
