And the majority of you look so thrilled to be preserved for posterity in those photos! I'm aware that very few people smile in military photos, but damn - the levels of disinterest and annoyance and discomfort... where were you when they were taken?
And you haven't changed much. Other than the ways you've grown (groan?) with your appreciation of good food. ;D
I think it was a studio that got paid a flat fee per photo, so all they cared about was having the camera focused.
'Sides, they told us we had to do it, but we didn't have to like it.
